i just came back from my Thailand exchange programme 2 days ago and i still kinda miss my host family now. HAHAH
so now you know how much the family and i bonded.
they were really nice people.

THAILAND Exchange Programme - DAY 1
We all met in school before heading to the airport together and we were divided into 2 groups,
homestay and the other group will be staying at the hostel there.
Obviously i'm in the homestay one (LOL)
No la, because the teachers looked for me to join that group and also i hosted another guy last year.
So yeah, and i think homestay is so much more fun than staying in the hostel!
Like seriously, good experience.

We all bombed Javier's mum (i think) with all the cameras that we have because we all wanted to have the picture in our camera.
And that happened throughout the trip for whoever that initiated to help us take a picture.

We seemed so suaku like we never seen such nice recycling bins before,
okay, i really never seen such nice ones before! LOL
We had our lunch in the airport too,
cos everyone were feeling hungry before boarding the plane.

When we reached the airport, our teachers were looking for the teachers and students from the other school and finally we saw them. HAHA
They were damn friendly.
Once we see them then the teachers started to pin the flowers on our shirts like we're some VIPs.
Then after that we got allocated to our host family and after that we all went home with the host family.
I talked quite abit to them and didn't feel awkward, because i would, normally.
So it was quite nice to be with them. And the ride to my buddy's house was like an hour and when i reached his house, i was like "wow".
Because his house is incredibly big.
Like if you have his type of house in Singapore, you're filthy rich!
Seriously like some palace. HAHAH.
He lived in a big family so quite some ppl live together there and i ate dinner there.
Home-cooked thailand food. LOL
And also, his house has like so many dogs, those very very big ones.
Like at least 8 of them?
So now you can imagine how big his house is!
And i played playstation with his brother, actually relative but they call each other bros.
Quite fun but i felt kinda awkward because we couldn't communicate that well, but i tried to.
And i had a room myself. It's a guest room i suppose?
It really felt like i'm their son or something.

2F'09 BBQ (4 Nov)

This year's class bbq was obviously more successful than last year's.
I bought all the food and things we needed from shengshiong like in the morning by myself,
and i felt kinda cool buying so much stuff and i'm alone.
but the problem was it was kinda hard to get a cab, so i abandoned the trolley and then ran to hail a cab.
Luckily no cheapos came to 'kope' our stuff. LOL
Baby then helped my carry the stuff to her house where we prepared the stingray and everything else for the bbq.
I had to rush back because i forgotten the fishballs which tasted damn good. HAHA
The rest started brushing thick layers of cheap butter that tastes like pure chemicals onto the corn for the bbq and started preparing the stingray which also tasted damn good after that.
After that we cabbed down to east coast and then the few of us didn't seem to see anyone coming so zhenyue and baby started cycling while vivian went to fetch cheewei & co. that came back kinda later,
so i was the only one at the pit and waiting to start the fire.
The few of us started starting the fire while waiting for the others and i'm proud to say that we did a better job this time because of the experience last year,
and i did felt a sense of accomplishment. LOL
As soon as the charcoal was burning hot,
we started bbqing all the food we had, and chicken wings that we had weren't marinated at all so it didn't have much taste but who cares, ppl still ate them.
And the only thing we bbqed throughout were the prawns because they tasted the best abd there were LOTS of them LOL .
But the butter/margarine which tasted like chemicals didn't taste as bad after it was barbequed and everything, so not so bad la. PRAISE BRAND if i'm not wrong. LOL cheap
It rained halfway of the bbq while mr. yohan and some of the others were trying to rescue the fire and they did. Miraculously. LOL
So we just continued till all the prawns were gone and all of us were satisfied. HAHA
WE SHALL HAVE ANOTHER BBQ OR EVEN CHALET LOL!

First Cycling experience (9 Nov)

Actually also trying out my new camera.
Actually its the second time i'm trying to cycle,
but i failed the first time learning, so went to try it out again today.
With the help of baby and jiayi.
It's really not that easy for me as it looked (at least for me).
And i'm sure that michael was just pure tyco-ness on the bbq night learning how to cycle while me and galvin were just left behind with the others because we didn't know how to cycle.
So yes, i tried really hard i guess just now?
Really wanted to know how to cycle.
I mean why can't i do it when michael already done it. LOL NO OFFENCE.
So guess what, i took one and a half hour learning and then FINALLY after all the encouragement and things that baby and jiayi said, I DID IT.
LOL, i will remember the place where i started paddling for more that a few pathetic times! FOREVER I TELL YOU.
But it was kinda disappointing that i only had half an our to enjoy myself riding on the bike.
But i think i would have killed some people if i cycled more! LOL.
Because i did scare some people when i just started cycling and also very dangerous to them.
There was this indian guy i think or was it chinese? that shouted at me.
BUT COME ON I'M ONLY A BEGINNER. LOL
And i always get nervous when i see small children or old people when i'm going to cycle pass them, because i really don't wanna kill or hurt them!
I CAN CYCLE NOW BITCHES!!! SO YOU BETTER STOP LAUGHING AT ME FOR NOT KNOWING HOW TO CYCLE!
I also want to thank baby and jiayi cos if it wasn't them, i wouldn't even know how to cycle.
I guess i will forever remember that moment when i could cycle!

Went back to school that day to check which course i'm in and everything,
and i got what i want!
BIO + CHEM & PURE GEOG.
YAY. I'm not going to appeal for AMath because i know i can't do it so i rather take pure geog! (:
NEW CAMERA!!
Finally got a better camera because i'm going to two countries this month.
YAY!
And the salesperson who was with me and my mum was fucked up.
She kept introducing and recommending us another camera and brand and kinda ignored my choice, which is the one i bought.
I'm really lazy to elaborate. But it was funny buying something with her because we tried to own each other or even the products. LOL.
But i'm already happy that i got a camera. HEHE

HOLIDAYS / 2 months of school holidays had just started for me and everyone else in secondary school.
i guess its gonna be a different holiday for me compared to previous years.
actually have some plans lined up!
like FINALLY i get to go to more places and stuff.
so i'm going for a Thailand exchange programme (those who rejected the offer you guys are dumb!)
and also Taiwan with my mum + her company.
hope i won't be like some unfriendly child when i'm with her colleagues because i can be unfriendly to people i don't know!
and also the annual year-end drama camp!
it's different for me (again) because i'm in the exco (one of the people planning it).
really looking forward!
though i'll leave after the first day because my flight is the next morning for Taiwan.
:D
hope to get a camera too,
since i'll be using it more often, if i manage to get one.
that's all for now!

Sec 2 ACE Camp ' 09
the picture was taken in day one when we just arrived. HAHA
why is MR. PARI in the picture man!?
the whole class should be asking the same question as me. :O
the first day was great with flying fox and the other rope challenges.
Flying fox was the most fun and i actually fell from the challenge rope course. :(
and guess what, i was the only one.
i underestimated it.
i thought it was simple because chris, who was before me just did it simply
and i didn't know that he slide past it throughout!
i took like fucking big steps sia.
then i fell.
the most paiseh moment.
even mr. yohan didn't fall.
i shall finish it the next time if i have the chance to do it again! MUAHAHA.
then after that at night was the night hike which i thought it was rather meaningless :X
we waited for an hour for our turn and i expected something but it was rather disappointing.
it was just walking, in the dark.
and listening to what nature has to give us!
i'll surely remember that, the sounds of crickets. LOL
then the second day was like what general stations which wasn't that fun but was building the team spirit! :D
and then we had the nature guided walk.
I FELT THAT THAT WAS THE MOST ENRICHING.
YES, i had like alot fun following the guide closely behind her.
i just felt that she's very inspiring.
she's CATHERINE. she totally loves what she's doing.
like loving the nature and everything,
and also looking for new stuff every single time she brings a group.
i find her the coolest person i met throughout the camp.
i know its weird la but true.
then it was CAMPFIRE.
Forever the highlight of any camp.
still remember the times when we had fake fire for the campfire during primary school! LOL
and then this time we rawked man! 2F'09
we were so high that chris's plate broke after all the hitting and we just got high ourselves.
i actually had a look at the audiences reaction but they just stared at us.
i don't know if they're too stunned or what but they just looked like they were day dreaming!
HAHA. mr. yohan was stunned by our performance LOL.
then the last day was area cleaning.
same thing you do for any typical camp. :D
we cleaned the canteen but i just cleared the rubbish with some of the others.
OKAY THEN BREAK CAMP.
and we didn't get any prize or anything. we expected two groups of 2F to own the prizes! HAHA
okay, although our class was divided into two groups i think we all still had fun in the camp la.
this camp seemed more fun than the one last year!

TOMORROW'S SECONDARY TWO ACE CAMP FOR ME.
i really don't know why so many ppl (or maybe some) are so hyped up and excited for the camp.
i mean like school camps are all basically the same.
- report to school with all your barang barang
- instructors start introducing you all kinds of lame cheers & claps
- go through all kinds of obstacle courses with a rope on
- do all kinds of team work/ team building games
- queue up for lunch like prisoners (LOL)
- continuing the camp with whatever games that instructors use to drag time
- some hiking or nature walk
- start bombing other groups with whatever you can say to show that your class/group is better
- cooking dinner by yourself
- long debrief
- shower with alot of screaming and shouting for fun
- supper then sleep
- and the list continues for the second day
- campfire with groups coming up to shout their throats off with all their cheers
some activitiess that we do in camp are really lame and i don't really enjoy it,
but there are still alot of fun activities (i bet it will be more fun without all those lame claps & cheers that suppose to make us 'high').
maybe i'm just not that enthu towards these kinds of school camps.
but who knows maybe at the end of the camp i'll be the one who had the most fun because i enjoyed those lame clapping and cheers.

EXAMS ARE OVER.
EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER.
at least ours ended earlier compared to some other schools and i think that's a good thing!
though we have lesser time to study and everything, WE HAVE MORE TIME TO RELAX.
who cares about a few days more to study! HAHA
exam period is over means no more burning midnight oil,
no more studying and mugging till your heads drop and no more worrying of your marks..
for the moment.
i just hope to pass all subjects, get into a double-science class, hopefully get into a-math and score well in chinese. (:
I just read about parents and students that are angry over the Maths Paper for PSLE this year and i want to like get a paper and try the questions.
i mean MOE isn't that cruel to give 12 year olds freaking hard questions what.
at least the maths paper for my year wasn't that challenging and i got a..........

Ris Low, the one created the new catch phrase, BOOMZ!
i laughed for a minute continuously, and then rewatched it again.
i mean it was seriously funny and in school, more of us started and spread all kinds of Ris Low jokes and also asking ppl to watch the video.
it continued for like weeks and then like two days ago i saw Xiaxue blogging about her and she was kinda protecting her.
But i thought Xiaxue is the kind which will really laugh hard at her or sth, but instead she described her as INTERESTING.
i watched all the parts and after the first part,
i already found her so fucking interested that i continued to watch more.
and i also found it cool when she talked about Claire Lee (her backstabber)
SHE FREAKING GOT HER REVENGE.
just go watch it and you'll know!!
i shall stop laughing about her since her english isn't bad AT ALL but i'll still use BOOMZ!!!!

So, we bought a cake and then met the others to go to Amira's place.
SURPRISED her outside her house with a cake and then we went into her house.
Making a wish, blow candles, cut cake... blah blah blah.
Those typical things that a birthday girl will do,
and then we started playing with the two babies at amira's house.
They were too adorable that we all thought of having our own babies at the moment.
LOL, maybe not.
And i think the first word Vivian's child will learn to say is 'FUCK YOU'.
You'll know why.. if you're her child. (:
OK so after that went to Plaza Sing and all we did was just basketball at the arcade and also racing each other in the arcade.

waited really damn long for baby to get ready and everything before getting out of her house.
girls are girls; always taking forever deciding what to wear and everything LOL.
FINALLY we got out of the house and realised it was late alr.
and yeah, was going to Marina Barrage.

waited for the shuttle bus for super long too!
and finally we got up the bus and reached there.
went up to the top where the grass were and the wind and scenery and everything up there was perfect. haha
started getting bored and wanted to get a kite.
the kite wasn't expensive but i was broke so we didn't get one. felt bad, sorry <33
went up to enjoy the wind before we left.
saw a couple having their photoshoot and baby said she wants to have our wedding pictures taken at the ZOO. LOL!
after that we left to raffles for our dinner.
mos burger with our fav. soups and burgers heh.
went to the esplanade after that, roof terrace and then the library.
surprised that we actually went into the library but <33
hah, obviously i don't have any talent in music.
remembered that i even had some difficulties blowing the recorder when i was in primary school.
but i still did well for my music because (believe it or not) i actually spent time practicing blowing the recorder.
ok random.
went to the riverside after that, nice scenery except for the disturbing construction lights and stuff.
she made my day!

Timothy's exam showcase at ACJC
(mairah, farhanah, me, nigel, kahlok)
went down to acjc with the others to support timothy, our graduated drama president!
it was his exam showcase and there were also 2 more groups that performed also.
ppl that were sitting behind us were xialan.
okay lol, timothy's one was funny with all the funny actions and dance(?);
also his shiny silver costume that he was wearing.
the third one was the funniest with this indian hotel manager talking and they even had subtitles for him and later he realised.
okay, most of you won't know what i'm talking about but yeah, it was damn funny.
after that chuying just hurriedly ran off so she wasn't in the picture.
we started taking pictures with self-timer mode and putting our phones onto whatever shit that was suitable.
failed attempts to take a picture lol
was damn pathetic and didn't get a good shot.
and there was this girl kinda giggling at us and volunteered and help us take a picture. LOL
and farhanah almost spoilt some working out equipment at acjc :O
quickly ran away after that and had our supper at Mac.
everyone just went home after that.
